JOURNAL INTERNATIONAL WINS 4X GOLD AND 5X SILVER AT THE FOX AWARDS
4 Golds, 5 Silvers – the result for Journal International at this year’s awards for efficiency within the communications sector.
This year, 422 entries were eligible for the FOX AWARDS - a complex, two-step selection procedure during which the quality of content, communication competence, lead generation, quality of distribution, and brand conformity are evaluated. Of these entries, 176 publications and media groups were conferred the FOX AWARD for outstanding performance efficiency.
Upon request, entrants could also submit their media to be assessed on a visual level at the FOX VISUALS, where Journal International’s publications were conferred 2x Gold, 4x Silver, and 2x Honors awards.
This year’s new additions to the list of accolades at the FOX AWARDS include the MASTERS OF EFFICIENCY, the highest recognition for ground-breaking media concepts, the FOX VISUALS MASTER for outstanding visual concepts, and the WORKFLOW EFFICIENCY award for particularly efficient production structures – where DEPARTURES, Journal International’s magazine for premium Cardmembers from American Express, was able to impress the jury.
The customer magazines DKV impulse, from health insurance provider DKV and Centaur magazine, created for the chemist retailer Rossmann, were both awarded Gold. Centaur represented the only concept from a retail chemist to win an award this year, underlining Rossmann’s leading role in customer communication and retention strategies. Deutsche Telekom’s online magazine telekom_life also impressed the panel, and added a third Gold to Journal International’s accolades. The fourth Gold was awarded to the BSW. The customer loyalty programme BMW Inspirationen, as well as the BMW Business Class magazine for the automotive giant’s executive business clients, both received Silver, as did P&G’s specialist magazine fame, created specifically with fragrance retail assistants in mind.
Journal International was also pleased to be awarded Silver for the brand new online magazine Destinations by Samsonite, which was launched this year.
“We are particularly delighted with this award, as Destinations by Samsonite is less than a year old. It’s a great motivation for all of us,” commented the online magazine’s publisher, Dr. Hans Christian Meiser.
